- Hardware indicates all the physical components that make up a computer and it consists of both external and internal parts. Software refers to all the programs and data that allow a computer to operate and carry out a task.

Hardware consists of both external and internal parts. 1-External parts (peripherals) refer to the basic functions of input ,such as sending data to your PC, and output, that indicates the outcome produced by the computer as a result of the input process.
