eighty-one per cent of French teens use Instagram , it is the most popular social network among teenagers. Snapchat comes on the second rank with seventy-four per cent Sixty-one per cent of French teens use Facebook. Thirty three per cent of them have an account on Twitter. Twenty-three per cent of them are on LinkedIn Seventeen per cent of them use Pinterest.

How much time do teens aged fifteen to twenty-fivespend on social media ?

Fifty-six per cent of them spend less than two hours a day on social media.Twenty- nine per cent spend between three and five hours a day Twelve per cent spend more than five hours a day.

Forty-four per cent of teens can't help using social networks Twenty per cent of them say they could do without social media forever.

Facebook , Whatsapp and Instagram are the most popular social networks with two billion users or more. TikTok is also very famous among young people with eight hundred million subscribers. Then comes Pinterest with three hundred and sixty seven million users and Twitter with three hundred and twenty one million users LinkedIn has two hundred and sixty million subscribers
