Czasu present perfect używamy również, gdy mówimy o czyimś dotychczasowym życiowym doświadczeniu. Mówimy o tym, co ktoś robił lub czego doświadczył, ale nie określamy, kiedy lub w jakich okolicznościach to się zdarzyło. Często używamy wtedy słów: ever (kiedykolwiek) never (nigdy).
