How many villages are in Moldova?

There are 700 villages in Moldova that are very small and do not have their own separate administration.

What are these villages?

Villages are often located in rural areas, have a low population density and small settlements

Why do villages in Moldova have such low population?

Some villages have churches.

Such a devastating loss of population is already causing severe problems such as labour shortages and a lack of professionals such as doctors, but these issues afflict other parts of post-communist Europe too. What is different is that population shrinkage in Moldova has begun to be discussed in existential terms.

It is common to see beautiful landscapes in Moldova's villages, with bright green trees, flowers, crops, shrubs and much more. A beautiful sight is the sunset along the water's surface, majestic colours bless our eyes and our souls.

Cows, horses, sheep, pigs, dogs, cats, chikens, ducks, roosters are common animlas used in villages for food and other minor things.

People in villages and towns in Moldova

Hospitable and friendly people – the wonderful, genuine and sincere nature of the Moldovan people. Anywhere on earth you will find good people and bad people. That is a given. Moldova, however, seems to have a lot of good people, that are reliable, trustworthy and friendly.
