How To Stay Safe Online

Almost everyone has an email address. At home and at work, email is a useful tool, but spam and junk mail can be an issue. For items that are typically very costly, spam emails offer all sorts of things like money, prizes and very low prices. They can also contain malware.

It's very easy to share files, but beware of fake files, malware and copyrighted content. If you repeatedly download files protected by copyright, Internet service providers (ISPs) can reduce your internet speed or disconnect you entirely. Using your IP address, they are able to control what you download. There's a specific IP address on every device.
