Structure

General statement clearly state your opinion

Main body. Topic sentence + reasons & examples. Weakest argument.

Main body. Topic sentence + reasons & examples. Strongest argument.

Re-state your opinion. Do not introduce new arguments.

"It´s best to travel to countries where you speak the language" Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? When you travel abroad, it´s obvious that you can communicate more easily if you speak the language of the place you go to. However, I don´t think that we should plan our trips based on our language abilities! There are many good reasons for travelling, even when we aren´t fluent speakers of a particular language. First of all, if you decide to only visit countries where they speak your language, you probably won´t travel very much! In my opinion, this would be a pity because there are lots of new countries and cultures in the world to discover. In addition, I think sometimes it´s good to get out of your comfort zone. It´s true that if you can´t have even a basic conversation, things can get difficult. However, it seems to me that it can be an unforgettable experience to be in a culture which is totally different to your own. In conclusion, we shouldn´t decide where to travel just based on language. I firmly believe that travelling is an adventure and we can experience it with all five of our senses - and not just by what we say and understand.

HOWEVER

Put back in order this argumentative essay

1. On the other hand, fame brings disadvantages for actors too. First, many film stars have little privacy because they are always being followed by reporters and photographers. Next, people with glamorous lifestyles meet other glamorous people and this can sometimes cause problems with, for example, family relationships. Finally, they have to work very hard to be successful and this may lead to considerable stress.

2. Many young people dream of achieving fame as film stars. However, it is a life which has both advantages and disadvantages.

3. To conclude. I think for film stars the advantages of being famous outweigh the disadvantages because being well-known is a result of their professional success. However, they need common sense to deal with the disadvantages.

4. There are three main advantages. Firstly, if actors are well-known, people will want to watch their films and if their films are popular, they will be offered more jobs in the future. Also, they live exciting and glamorous lives with plenty of foreign travel and luxury. There is no doubt that most actors fnd this very enjoyable. Finally, fame and success go together.

A great day out My family and I have been going to Blackpool for years. It´s a seaside town in the north-west of England. It´s only about an hour from where we live. It has one of the UK´s best theme parks which is called The Pleasure Beach. I´ve been there over five times! A one-day ticket for the rides costs 639 but it´s cheaper if you book in advance online. This year my brother and I went on a new rollercoaster called Icon which goes four times faster than a Lamborghini! I was scared. But it´s not all about the rollercoasters here. If you have time, you should definitely watch one of the amazing shows. This year we saw a fantastic concerts called "The Greatest Showman" and other musicals. There isn´t much I´d change about The Pleasure Beach. It´s a fantastic place to visit but it can get very busy. Make sure you get there early, as the queues for the rides can get very long. It´s well worth going to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. There´s something for everyone - there are rides and shows for people of all ages and the tickets are good value. I´d recommend this theme park, especially to teenagers who like to scared!

Kompak i90 power bankI often travel to hockey matches with my team and, after a recent problem when my phone died, my parents decided the time had come to buy me a power bank. Having looked at few alternatives, I chose the Kompak i90. Although Im not a big tech fan, I´ve found it really easy to use, and it´s a welcome relief to know I can recharge my phone wherever I am. I´m really impressed by its speed: it can charge your phone 4 times faster than if you plug it into your computer. But what I most like about it is the size. Though there are other models which can charge for longer, as its name suggests it is vey compact! It´s under 10 cm long and weighs only 115 g. The downside for some customers migh be the fact that it only has one USB connection, so you can only charge one device at a time. However, if - like me - you´re only going to use it for a quick charge for your phone in an emergency, that doesn´t really matter. At the end of the day, the type of power bank you choose will depend on your needs. Despite its limitations for some users, if you´re looking for a very portable, emergency power source you won´t be disappointed with the Kompak i90.

Introduction, reason you bought it, information about it.

Positive things about the gadget.

Negative points. Was there anything that could be better?

Conclusion. Would you recommend it or not? who for?
