For the common people of every country (Vietnam), they were pressured from the government and their own government, people don’t have food, clothes or money.

“The August Revolution was a revolution launched by Ho Chi Minh's Việt Minh against the French and the Japanese Empire colonial rule in Vietnam, on August 14, 1945. On September 2, 1945, Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnamese Independence. The August Revolution sought to create a Việt Minh unified regime for the entire country.”

Ho Chi Minh was a Vietnamese revolutionary and politician. He served as Prime Minister of North Vietnam from 1945 to 1955 and President from 1945 to 1969. Ideologically a Marxist–Leninist, he served as Chairman and First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Vietnam.

The August Revolution refers to the final months of 1945 when Japan surrendered to the Allies and withdrew its forces from south-east Aia. With Vietnam lacking any form of national government, Ho Chi Min the Viet Minh seized on the opportunity to declare Vietnamese indapendence and take control
Third Independence of Vietnam
On September 2 1945, Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence before the masses of people, officially giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Vietnam officially restored its independence after nearly 100 years of French colonization.
