What's the difference between Passive Voice and Causative Form of Passive???

Active

My father repairs his car.

My father = agent (doer), he's activewe know who and what

Passive

My father's car is repaired

we know what is done; the agent / doer is not important

Causative Form

(have sth done)

My father has his car repaired.

The subject is not an agent/doer, he's not activethe thing is done to him; we don't know the agent

All tenses

Mary has her dog examined every year.Mary is having her dog examined right now. Mary had her dog examined yesterday. Mary was having her dog examined for 2 hours. Mary has had her dog examined 3 times. Mary will have her dog examined tomorrow. Mary should have her dog examined .
