Student guide: DOWNLOAD/INSTALL CANVAS STUDENT APP ON MOBILE

1 Open App Store

Open your iOS device and tap the App Store icon. *The steps are shown for a phone display, but unless otherwise noted, tablet displays mirror the same steps.

2 Open Search

In phone devices, tap the Search icon at the bottom of the screen. In tablet devices, tap the Search field at the top of the App Store.

3 Search for Canvas Student app

In the search field, type Canvas Student in the search field then tap the name when it appears.

4 Select Canvas Student app

Tap the Get button. Note: this app is free of charge.

5 Install Canvas Student app

Install the app per your device's installation method. Note: iTunes may ask for your iTunes password to download the app.

6 Open Canvas Student app

When the app has downloaded and installed onto your iOS device, you may now access it by tapping the Open button.

7 Login to Web Campus

Click on Find my school. to enter your school/institution.

1 Open Play Store

Open your Android device and tap the Play Store icon. *The steps are shown for a phone display, but unless otherwise noted, tablet displays mirror the same steps.

2 Search for Canvas Student app

In the search field, type Canvas Student [1]. Tap the full name when it appears [2].

3 Install Canvas Student app

Tap the Install button.

4 Download Canvas Student app

View the app download and install progress.

5 Open Canvas Student app

When the app has downloaded and installed onto your device, you may now access the app by tapping the Open button.

You may now find your school/institution and input your login details.
