Simple Present
Utilizziamo il Simple Present per parlare di azioni quotidiane o che svolgiamo abitualmente, per parlare di situazioni permanenti o cose che sono sempre vere, ed infine lo usiamo per parlare di orari fissi. Si costruisce con la forma base del verbo (VFB). Alla terza persona singolare aggiungiamo una -S o -ES (a seconda di come finisce il verbo). S + VFB + RF = I play football 3°PS + VFB-S + RF = She plays football

Per creare le forme negativa ed interrogativa del Simple Present ho bisogno del verbo ausiliare DO, DOES alla terza persona singolare, SEGUITO dal verbo che svolge l'azione alla FORMA BASE. Il verbo ausiliare è un verbo che mi aiuta nella costruzione delle domande e delle negazioni in lingua inglese. S + DON'T / DOESN'T + VFB + RF = I don't play football - she doesn't play football DO / DOES + S + VFB + RF = Do you play football? - Does she play football?

Every day I get up at seven o'clock.
I go to the bathroom and I have a shower. Then I put my clothes on. (I get dressed)
I usually eat cereals with milk for breakfast.
I go to school by bus (I catch the bus) and I arrive at school at a quarter past eight.
School starts at half-past eight and our lessons finish at half-past one.
I arrive home at two o'clock. I have lunch with my family.
After lunch, I go to my room and do my homework.
In the afternoon, I play with my friends in the park in front of my home and then I watch TV or play with my computer.
I have dinner at half-past eight.
After dinner I usually watch TV and I relax or read a magazine or something until 11 pm. That's the time when I normally go to bed.
