A good academic Presentation

Think about the aim of your presentation and what you want to achieve/ what you want your audience to know.

Present information visually– this adds interest to your talk and makes it easier to follow.

Choose a topic that interests you – involvement and motivation are key to confidence.

Practise giving your presentation until you are familiar with the key points; this way you may discover any potential problems and check the timing. Besides, practice will also make you feel more confident.

Give your presentation a clear and logical organization so that everyone can follow.

Make sure you choose a topic that interests you?

How to choose a title?

A. The environmental impact of toursim in Thailand.

You need to establish a focus for your topic. To do this, you need to ask yourself some questions to get specific ideas about the topic.

or

B. The impact of Covid-19 on the tourism industry.

For example, if you decide to talk about 'Tourism', your title cannot be 'Tourism' as this is too broad.

So you could ask yourself:* Why is tourism important? * Who is affected by tourism? * How is tourism affecting the environment? This should help you come up with a focused topic like A & B above.

You need a more focused topic. For example:
