* In the simple present tense, the verb in 3rd person singular has an "s"

* Add "es" when the verbs end in "S", "O", "Sh", "CH", "X" or "Z".
Examples: He/She/It = goes He/She/It = washes He/She/It= fixes
* With verbs that end in"Y" precedes by a consonant, remove the "Y"and add "ies"

* If a vowel precedes the final "Y" just add "S"
