My name is Johannah, but you can call me Jo if you like. I am a fresh new mind joining the clinical team! I got my undergrad at Marian University in Social Work and recently graduated with my Master of Social Work from UW-Madison. I have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as those with anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD. I look forward to continuing to grow my skills & support the clients and staff at this wonderful place, Treffert Studios!

Hi, I'm Nathan Cuellar and I work at SSM Health Treffert Studios as a behavior treatment technician. I enjoy music, video games, and technology as a whole, especially computers. Music is a big part of my life both in terms of listening to it and playing it. I also enjoy spending most of my free time playing videos games on my computer at home. At Treffert Studios I do Video and Audio Recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and serve as our in-house IT Support

This is a Friday camp for students ages 11 through 16. The program runs nine weeks from June through August. Activities may include gaming, art, gardening, multimedia, theater, yoga, daily living skills, 3-D printing, sensory activities, and music. Limit 10.
(Lunch is from noon - 12:30 pm, you may bring your own or be provided one)

Join us for a unique and empowering cooking class designed specifically for neurodivergent individuals aged 15 and up. Over the course of five weeks, participants will learn essential cooking skills, explore new recipes, and gain confidence in the kitchen. Our supportive and inclusive environment ensures that everyone can thrive and enjoy the art of cooking. Limit 8

Julie Coy is a dedicated Behavioral Technician at Treffert Studios, responsible for organizing and inventorying all media equipment and theater costumes. She takes great pride in her highly organized and detail-oriented approach to ensuring that equipment and costumes are in good condition and readily available for use. As the mother of Grant Maniér, an award-winning Eco-Artist, who lives with autism, Julie has a personal understanding of the importance of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all individuals, especially those who are neurodivergent. She is passionate about helping students find their talents and express themselves through the arts.

Pathfinder

Participants will engage in a fun and interactive Pathfinder experience, like Dungeons & Dragons, through various landscapes, encountering goblins, undead, and other creatures along the way. Participants will utilize various skills and techniques during gameplay invluding creative thinking and teamwork.You will work with your GM to create a character and will play sessions via FoundryVTT on provided laptops (you can bring your own as well) No paper and pencil needed! Dice are optional.

Family Strokes

Time for families to get artsy. The adults will be guided to paint the ice cream cones featured above, and kids will choose to paint with their parent or experience painting using virtual reality. All materials provided. Limit 12 children on VR and 20 painters.

He enjoys watching films, exploring local galleries and museums, and attending live music events. He believes that the arts have the power to heal and has seen the positive impact that music, film, and art can have on his patients. Gideon is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all of his patients and believes that building strong relationships with them is the key to successful treatment outcomes. He is dedicated to improving the lives of those struggling with mental illness.

Level Up Friday

Level Up Friday is the ultimate Friday night program for kids eight and up to enjoy fun, engaging games in a safe and supportive environment. Designed for youth on the autism spectrum but open to all, these events focus on fostering creativity, social interaction, and joy through a variety of activities tailored to their interest and needs. Gaming competitions, arts and crafts, music, “Cosplay,” LEGO, VR activities, and kitchen skills will be used to help individuals practice, explore, learn, revise, and grow.

My focus is on strength-based approaches empowering clients to use their gifts and strengths as the foundation of their treatment. I also specialize in working with neurodiverse individuals that may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or need to increase their social understanding. I use a variety of themes such as music, multimedia and technology as a way to engage clients in areas that they find interesting in order to increase engagement while working towards their treatment goals. Other specialties include ADHD, developmental delays in children and career development, EMDR and neuro/biofeedback to treat trauma, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorders.
