AFFIRMATIVE

Tenemos que partir de la base que WAS es el pasado de IS y WERE es el pasado de ARE.Para hacer oraciones con I, HE, SHE, IT tenemos que utilizar WAS. Para hacer oraciones con YOU, WE, THEY tenemos que utilizar WERE. Example1: I was at school at 9:00 o'clock. Example2: They were tall (ellos eran altos)

Utilizo la presposición AT para referirme al lugar donde estuve y cuando uso las horas

IntERROGATIVE

Para hacer las oraciones interrogativas necesitamos cambiar la posición del sujeto y del verbo, al igual que hacíamos en el presente. Example1: You were at theme park yesterday Were you in Paris yesterday? Example2: He was intelligent Was he intelligent?

NEGATIVE

Para hacer oraciones negativas añadimos NOT a was o were. Example1: I wasn't at the restaurant yesterday Example2: We weren't doctors.
