• Suliman ALLOWED for the growth in arts, literature, and music during his rule
• The Ottoman Empire Art was very colorful and included lots of shapes and patterns to make the work

• The Ottoman Empire had land that surrounded the Meddirterainan Sea, the Red Sea, and also near the Black Sea
• The Empire originated from the land between the Black Sea and the Medditerainan Sea, but over time grew to almost surround the Medditerainan Sea completely
• The Empire started off collecting Turkish lands
• The Empire then expanded all the way too the Byzantine Empire
