TÀNGER
Tangier, in Morocco, is an irresistible location and a popular port of entry for tourists. It is a bustling city of approximately 950,000 inhabitants, located in the extreme north of the country, which grows every day with unbridled rhy.Tangier is recognized for its strong multicultural identity, forged in the middle of the last century when it was distinguished as a great cosmopolitan city and a place of interest for many artists and other influential people.
Two were the fundamental reasons that led to it: the promotion that Eugéne Delacroix made of it, who lived there for years and decorated the salons of Paris and other parts of Europe with his paintings of the city, and its appointment as an international city in the 1925, which allowed any country in the world to take part in its development.

A bit of history about Tanger
According to Amazigh mythology, Tangier was built by Tinge's son named Sophax. Tinjis was the wife of the Amazigh hero Anteu. Greek legends attribute the founding of the city to the giant Anteus, and his tomb would be near the city. A few kilometers from the city is the cave called Heracles, one of the largest regional tourist attractions for its relationship with Greek mythology.

The star dishes of the inhabitants of Tangier are the dishes with all kinds of fish since the city is known mainly for fishing thanks to the port apart from having great varieties and quantities of fish in the city and it is one of the things for which highlights the city.

Many people are very interested and like to attend the annual festivals of the city of Tangier either in summer or in winter.The most popular festivals are:Sardine festival held next to the city harbor.Tourist festival where they reflect the culture of the city.Music festival held in summer.International music festival that is one of the most important in Africa.

- To move around Morocco in general, they have at your disposal taxis (old cream colored Mercedes) or petit taxis (blue colored cars).
- The bread in Morocco is delicious, has very little thickness and is very well cooked, they distribute it on these motorcycle cars.

- Black soap is a type of soap that is used in the treatments of Arab baths
- The bars are only full of men who have tea or coffee sitting on the terrace, they are not allowed to drink alcohol in these places
