BLOOD PRESSURE

-Is the force of the blood pressingagainst the artery wall. -Blood pressure can be recorded easily, effortlessly and painlessly, which is an advantage for both patients and doctors.

Heart attack

Why do they give heart attacks?

A heart attack is caused by an obstruction in the coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart muscle (myocardium).

A partial obstruction causes chest pain called angina pectoris.

To prevent obstructions, doctors recommend avoiding animal fats, salt, tobacco and becoming overweight. Exercise also improves cardiac functions as it increases the number of red blood cells, allowing more oxygen to be captured and transported.

Anaemia

What is anaemia?

Iron-enriched food

Anaemia is the reduction of haemoglobin concentration in the blood and a symptom of many illnesses.

Haemoglobin concentration levels depend on age, sex, diet and environmental conditions. Anaemia can affect people with dietary deficiencies (in particular a lack of iron and folic acid) and is widespread in countries without the resources to maintain adequate nutrition.
