THE UNITED KINGDOM

The United Kingdom is made up of: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The capital of the United Kingdom and England is London, the capital of Scotland is Endimburg, of Wales it is Cardiff and finally the capital of Northern Ireland is Belfast. The UK is home to 58 million.

THE QUEEN ELIZABETH

Queen Elizabeth lives in Buckingham Palace which is located in London (the capital of the United Kingdom). His face is found on: banknotes, coins and stamps.

MAIN

the most important cities are:

  • Edinburgh is famous for its old castle;
  • York is famous for the cathedral of York Minster and narrow streets;
  • Stratford-upon-Ovon is famous for the birth of Wiliam Shakespeare;
  • Liverpool is famous for being remembered as a port and being the home of the Beatles;
  • Cambrige and Oxford they are famous for their universities and bicycles;
  • London is famous for the Buckingham Palace, place where queen elizabeth lives.
