Britain was a Pagan country, then Saint Augustine came and started converting people to Christianity so he brought languages with him with the Bible that was written in Latin, Greek and Hebrew.

People started exploring the world, going off in ships and finding other countries, finding places like America, India, China.... so people explored and influenced the language
