• Adaptation of Andrew Hodges' biography entitled Alan Turing or the enigma of intelligence
• Inspired by the life of British mathematician and cryptanalyst Alan Turing during World War II
• society during World War II, sciences, espionage and state secrets

Summary :

• Bletchley Park, United Kingdom, the best cryptographers in the country are working on extraordinary confidentiality decryption missions especially that of the enigma machine.

• I found this scene striking, Alan knows that he needs Joan so that she can stay asking for her for a wedding. I found this scene very moving, the actors are very persuasive. We understand that it's a sort of arranged marriage and that neither one is convinced. Moreover, we see how obsessed Alan is with decrypting his machine. It costs how much to decipher this machine.

• In this scene Alan discusses with a friend of Joan and understands how to decipher the enigma. It was a very tense moment filled with suspense and especially the fulfilment of all their research.

• we are immersed in history
• I strongly recommend this movie (it's on netflix :) )
