3D COMPUTER ANIMATION & VISUALIZATION
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The animation classes involve learning the principles of animation, which are used in 3D animation like modern Disney and Pixar films as well as 2D animation like classic television cartoons. Students learn many aspects of the animation pipeline, from 3D modeling and texturing all the way up to bringing those models to life through animation. Students will learn the tools and techniques that go into creating creative animation projects. Anyone interested in the work that goes into creating movies and video games may be interested in the animation and visualization classes.

Agricultural Science and Business presents students with the opportunity to experience all aspects of the business of farming. ARCHITECTURE
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Architectural Drafting and Design I will provide students with a basic understanding of the detailing skills commonly used by a drafting technician. Areas of study include: lettering, sketching, proper use of equipment, geometric constructions with emphasis on orthographic (multi-view) drawings that are dimensioned and noted to ANSI standards. This course includes the creation and interpretation of construction documents. Methods of geometric construction, three dimensional drawing techniques, and sketching will be presented as well as elementary aspects of residential design and site work. Areas of emphasis will include print reading and drawing. Another purpose of this introductory course is to provide students with a basic understanding of the features and considerations associated with the operation of a computer-aided design (CAD) system. Students will gain valuable hands-on experience with Auto CAD. They will be expected to complete several projects relating to command topics. Topics include: 2D drawing commands, coordinate systems, editing commands, paper and model space, inquiry commands, layers, plotting, text, and basic dimensioning. This course will also include Basic Architectural AutoCAD practices.

Automotive Services Technology includes classroom and laboratory experiences that incorporate training in service and repair work on all types of automotive vehicles. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Cosmetology offers an introduction to cosmetology with emphasis on basic practical skills and theories including roller control, quick styling, shampooing, hair coloring, permanent waving, facials, manicuring business and personal ethics, and bacteriology and sanitation. Students will also study anatomy and physiology, professionalism, and salon management in relation to cosmetology. The State of Indiana requires a total of 1500 hours of instruction for licensure.

The Culinary Arts program prepares students for occupations and higher education programs of study related to the entire spectrum of careers in the hospitality and culinary arts industries. DENTAL CAREERS
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The dental courses provide entry-level training for a career in the profession of dentistry. Dental Careers offers hands-on experience as well as classroom instruction. Emphasis is placed on the clinical environment, chairside procedures, dental materials, placing restorations, equipment and instrument identification, tray set-ups, sterilization, and characteristics of microorganisms and disease control. In addition, oral, head and neck anatomy, basic embryology, histology, tooth morphology, charting dental surfaces, and illness are introduced.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
These courses prepare students for employment in early childhood education and related careers that involve working with children. Students will study topics related to child development and learning, supporting young children and families, application of basic health and safety principles, designing activities and lessons for young children and guidance and discipline. The students will assist the instructor in the operation of a preschool classroom for children ages 3 - 5. After completion of coursework students might have an opportunity to to take the Child Development Associate certification and earn a CDA credential.

These courses introduce students to fundamental design theory and color dynamics. Students apply design theory, ideas and creative problem solving in communication technology using software applications. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
These courses provide training in nursing assisting and medical assisting. During the school year students learn hands-on skills in the classroom and simulated laboratory. These skills include: infection control, patient hygiene, nutrition, vital signs, patient movement, patient treatment, phlebotomy, and other specialized skills. Students will also complete an on-the-job training experience. Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a pathway designed to encompass different aspects of engineering. Courses are centered on activities that are hands-on and project based. WELDING
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The welding courses include classroom and laboratory experiences that develop a variety of skills in oxy-fuel cutting and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma cutting and carbon arc. OSHA standards and guidelines endorsed by the American Welding Society (AWS) are used. Instructional activities emphasize properties of metals, safety issues, blueprint reading, electrical principles, welding symbols, and mechanical drawing through projects and exercises that teach students how to weld and be prepared for college and career success.

Automotive Services Technology includes classroom and laboratory experiences that incorporate training in service and repair work on all types of automotive vehicles. Instruction and practice provides opportunities for students to diagnose malfunctions, disassemble units, perform parts inspections, and repair and replace parts. Course content addresses ASE Education Foundation standards leading to certification in one or more of the following areas: steering and suspension, brakes, engine performance, electrical systems, and engine repair.

COSMETOLOGY
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Cosmetology offers an introduction to cosmetology with emphasis on basic practical skills and theories including roller control, quick styling, shampooing, hair coloring, permanent waving, facials, manicuring business and personal ethics, and bacteriology and sanitation. Students will also study anatomy and physiology, professionalism, and salon management in relation to cosmetology. The State of Indiana requires a total of 1500 hours of instruction for licensure.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE

The Culinary Arts program prepares students for occupations and higher education programs of study related to the entire spectrum of careers in the hospitality and culinary arts industries. DENTAL CAREERS
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The dental courses provide entry-level training for a career in the profession of dentistry. Dental Careers offers hands-on experience as well as classroom instruction. Emphasis is placed on the clinical environment, chairside procedures, dental materials, placing restorations, equipment and instrument identification, tray set-ups, sterilization, and characteristics of microorganisms and disease control. In addition, oral, head and neck anatomy, basic embryology, histology, tooth morphology, charting dental surfaces, and illness are introduced.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
These courses prepare students for employment in early childhood education and related careers that involve working with children. Students will study topics related to child development and learning, supporting young children and families, application of basic health and safety principles, designing activities and lessons for young children and guidance and discipline. The students will assist the instructor in the operation of a preschool classroom for children ages 3 - 5. After completion of coursework students might have an opportunity to to take the Child Development Associate certification and earn a CDA credential.

These courses introduce students to fundamental design theory and color dynamics. HEALTH SCIENCE: PRE-NURSING CNA/CCMA
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
These courses provide training in nursing assisting and medical assisting. During the school year students learn hands-on skills in the classroom and simulated laboratory. These skills include: infection control, patient hygiene, nutrition, vital signs, patient movement, patient treatment, phlebotomy, and other specialized skills. Students will also complete an on-the-job training experience. Upon completion of the program students will have an opportunity to receive certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).

Offering areas of study in computer repair, computer science for cybersecurity, cybersecurity, and networking/security. Networking and security students use the latest skills needed by today’s computer support professionals to design, implement, troubleshoot and secure networks. Computer Science and Cybersecurity students experience state of the art instruction in classes designed to be project-based with hands-on activities. Computer Tech Support students learn the skills needed to build, repair, and troubleshoot personal computers. All students learn valuable skills by doing and experience real world work.

Mechanical drafting provides students with a basic understanding of the skills commonly used by engineers to design and prototype parts. Areas of study include: computer-aided drafting, three dimensional modeling, working drawings, machine tool programming and machine tool set-up. Students will gain valuable hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software and a variety of automated machine tools. Students will have the opportunity to complete several projects relating to product design and development, automated programming, and operation of machine tools.

The C4 Precision Machining classes are designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the precision machining processes used in industry, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a pathway designed to encompass different aspects of engineering. Courses are centered on activities that are hands-on and project based. Students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills while using the same industry-leading 3D design software used by companies like Intel, Lockheed Martin, and Pixar. Students explore aerodynamics, manufacturing, and alternative energy; and apply biological and engineering concepts related to biomechanics--think robots! WELDING
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The welding courses include classroom and laboratory experiences that develop a variety of skills in oxy-fuel cutting and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma cutting and carbon arc. OSHA standards and guidelines endorsed by the American Welding Society (AWS) are used. Instructional activities emphasize properties of metals, safety issues, blueprint reading, electrical principles, welding symbols, and mechanical drawing through projects and exercises that teach students how to weld and be prepared for college and career success.
