Military dictatorships and the Condor Plan

The Latin American military dictatorships, between 1970 and 1990 were established as a Condor plan. The targets were kidnapped, tortured to the point of disappearing political dissidents, regardless of their nationality.

The countries known on a large scale or better known are: Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay. Bolivia, 1971-1978. Hugo Banzer dies at the age of 76 without being tried.

Chile, 1973-1990. Augusto Pinochet. Dies at 91 without trial Paraguay. 1954-1989. Alfredo Stroessner. He died in Brazil at the age of 93 without being tried.

Argentina, 1976-1983. Jorge Videla. House arrest from 1998 until his death in 2013 Uruguay, 1973-1985. Juan Maria Bordaberry. Imprisoned in 2006
