-We are going to analyse a French poster of a movie named: “GATTACA”. We know it because “Bienvenue à Gattaca” is written in big letters at the bottom of this document. The poster is symmetrical in all points: At the top on the left we can see the main actor’s name, Ethan HAWKE and, on the right, the main actress’s name, Uma THURMAN. If we draw a vertical line from the man’s head, the document is divided into two equal parts: on the left and on the right of the characters, we can see circles and there are two lines at the top and at the bottom so we can say that the document is organized with lots of

geometrical figures. Besides, we notice the line cuts the title of the film in two: GAT T ACA. There is the picture of the main character in the middle and one of the woman on the man’s body. Above the title, a catchline is written in French: “Un seul critère de sélection: la perfection génétique” which can be translated by: “Only one criterion of selection: genetic perfection.” Finally, there are the credits under the title of the poster.
