The scop

Sotton-Hoo

Sutton hoo is the name of a place where a group of Anglo-Saxon burials was found.We are in, south east England, on the east bank of the river Deben, about 11km from the sea.

The Sutton-Hoo helmet it takes its name from the site where it was found. It was found in small fragmented pieces. Together these pieces managed to find a helmet. The pieces were of iron some covered with bronze like mouth, nose and eyebrows.
