Octopus- OŚmiornica

The octopus has 8 arms. He is a wimp. It lives in water at a depth of 100 to about 2000 meters.

Ostrich- Struś

Ostrich is found in Africa and Australia. She is a bird, but she cannot fly. They often appear in groups.

Beaver- bóbr

The beaver is found in forests close to lakes. They build dams and their houses of sticks.

Polar bear- niedźwiedź polarny

A polar bear lives in the Arctic. It eats meat and fish. It has white fur, which makes it hardly visible in the snow.

Camel- wielbłąd

A camel may have one or two humps in which it holds water. He lives in Africa and has such funny hooves which makes it easier for him to walk on a felt-tip pen.

The shark lives in the water. It is a very dangerous predator. It often hunts sea turtles.

The kangaroo lives in Australia. It is very fast and can reach speeds of 70 kilometers per hour.

Penguins inhabit Antarctica. They are birds, but they cannot fly. They eat fish and know how to swim.

Chimpanzee- szympans

The chimpanzee is human's "cousin". They like bananas. They are hairy all over their body and can climb trees perfectly.

Bat- nietoperz

The bat is a nocturnal animal with membranous wings that likes to screw into the hair and spread rabies.

Crab- krab

A crab is a crustacean that lives in water or sand. He has tongs and thanks to them he can defend himself.

Owl- sowa

The owl is a bird. It hunts mice and other small mammals. He can turn his head 360 degrees.
