Mistakes and learning in the creation of the project

Worked Project

According to the observed need, where most people do not know sign language, because they have not had interaction with deaf people.

Hologram Lamp

The Hologram lamp was created to provide an opportunity for speakers to learn a little bit of this language, since by learning the alphabet in sign language, they can have the initiative to continue learning more.

This hologram lamp is directed especially to the speaking people, who want to interact in a dynamic way with the learning of the sign language.

Obstacles presented

For this project my main obstacle was to identify the need and categorize the type of user my project is aimed at. Another aspect is that my project did not have a real focus, I lacked to transmit more the main function.

FINDINGS

• The lamp did not satisfactorily explain its function
• Users felt that this lamp served more as a gift than a learning tool
• The lamp must have more functions
• Users think it's an innovative idea for learning sign language.

ASPECTS TO BE IMPROVED

1. The design of the lamp
2. The lamp must contain more images referring to phrases or numbers in sign language
3. Must be understandable
4. It should show its functionality with ease

IMPROVED PROTOTYPE

Form change is performed and simple phrases are included for the user to learn

This hologram lamp displays every letter of the alphabet so that the user can practice at any time of the day.
