Let me tell you the story of a little elf like no other. His name is Klutz and he loves Christmas but something’s the matter...

Klutz is very clumsy. He’s so clumsy, some think he’s funny.

On Monday, he slipped on a roll of toilet paper. Whoosh! The roll went flying into the air. When it was all over. Around the Christmas tree was toilet paper!

Klutz thought: “Oh! I am so clumsy, it’s not even funny!”

But the family that lived there thought: “Wow! Our tree is so pretty!” Klutz was happy to hear that.

On Tuesday, he tried to fix some pretty lights. But that didn’t go so right. The cat tried to catch him in the hall. Even if Klutz was so small!

He had to run with the lights on his back. If he didn’t want to be turned into a snack. When the chase stopped, Klutz was too sleepy, so the lights fell all around the Christmas tree.

Klutz thought: “That cat was too hungry, it’s not even funny!”

But the family that lived there thought: “Wow! Our tree is so pretty!” Klutz was happy to hear that.

On Wednesday, Klutz was hanging candy canes. That he had found outside in the rain!Now the whole house smelled like peppermint candy.

Klutz thought: “Oh no, those canes were too minty!”

But the family that lived there thought: "Wow! Our house smells lovely!" Klutz was happy to hear that.

Sniff, sniff

On Thursday, he tried to make the gingerbread house nicer by adding a little bit of powdered sugar. The bag went zoom and the sugar went boom!

Klutz thought: "I’m so clumsy, it’s not even funny!"

But the family thought: "Oh my! It looks like snow under the tree!" Klutz was happy to hear that.

On Friday, Klutz tried to hang some bells. Of course they also fell! Right under the stockings, where they started ringing.

Klutz thought: "I’m so clumsy, it’s not even funny!"

But the family came running, and marvelled at the bells’ ringing.Klutz was happy to see that.

Finally, on Christmas Eve around midnight, Klutz was going to do things right. He was going to put Santa’s gifts under the treebut when you’re clumsy, nothing is easy!

The gifts were just too heavy and Klutz was just too tiny.

He tried a magic spell so nobody would be able to tell. "Zing Bling Cadobaling!"

Klutz thought: "I’m so clumsy, it’s not even funny!"
