About this collection

Hey, there, amazing parent! I'm teacher Alice, here to help your little one learn to love books! This book collection will be updated until all 9 pages of books are full. Currently there are 47 books waiting to be uploaded and sorted by categories. Some books will include basic preschool skills (colors, animals, shapes, emotions, etc), some will include early literacy (alphabet), some are nursery-rhyme themed so you can sing as you read, some rhyme, and some are very fun and they are meant to be read and enjoyed with the parent. The first page is not sorted as the collection has just been made, and the books will be sorted once they are all uploaded.

Helping your child read from an early age

To motivate your child to see books in a positive light and learn to love reading you should:1. Point as you read and read slowly with a melodic voice. Do not worry about your accent! 2. Dramatize and have your child describe pages they like. 3. Follow their attention - if they like something, encourage further conversation. 4. Have fun! Nothing will work if your child does not see you are enjoying yourself too!
