Powody decyzji
Możliwość zakwaterowania
Twoje osiągnięcia w szkole
Wymagania rekrutacyjne
powody twojej decyzji
- My aunt died few weeks ago. I got a letter and guess what? She left me a house in America. I finished school this year so I decided to move to my new house and start university there. It was always my dream but now I have a real chance.
- Harvard is a university with many opportunities. I have wanted to study there for a long time because it has the best reputation.
- I want to continue my learning and education.
- I would like to study at there because it has a major fields I want to study.
powody twojej decyzji
- I need studies to get a good job.
- I've always wanted to study in the USA.
- I was on vacation in the USA and there I met a boy with whom I got pregnant and that made me want to start my education in the USA.
- I was looking for a university where I would be able to combine education with raising my child and which would be close to my partner's apartment.
- I was also interested in this school because it has a very high level of foreign languages and I would like to continue learning Spanish and German.
Wymagania rekrutacyjne
- Can you tell me something about admission requirements?
- I had to pass the Matura Exam with a score over 80 percent.
- Of course I started looking for a good university for me. At The beginning I have to pass language exams. It's not a problem, I speak English very well. I also have to hand in my graduation certificate and matura exam result. Probably I will have to do interview but I’m not sure.
Twoje osiągnięcia
- My greatest achievement was saving the life of our elderly director, and as a result I became a golden student of our school. Our school also places great emphasis on sport and that's why I won the World Olympics in ski jumping.
- Well, I am going to math profile school, did I mention? I was really good at math, I won every school conquests, town conquests too, even went once on Country tournament, well I didn't win of course but I did well. My school recomended me this university and I am proud of myself!
Twoje osiągnięcia
- In high school, I was the president of the school
- I took part in school volunteering
- I helped sick children from the hospital and sang them songs
- I won a gold medal for a medical emergency competition
możliwośćzakwaterowania
- Can you tell me where I should live?
- Is it true that accommodation is possible?
- What if I don't have a roommate?
- As I said my aunt left me big house, so I have place to live. It is too big for me alone, so I decided to get two or three roommates. I will earn extra money and won't feel alone, but there are conditions, they can't be loud. I am at university so I have to study hard and need silence for this. Also they have to clean their stuff.
zadanie
The 1st option
the 2nd option
the 1st option
The best option for me is option 1 because I've got full contanct with tutor and he is learning only me so he can adjust to my level of language and go along with me. Second one is harder because I don't have full contact with teacher, if i won't understand something that would be harder to tutor to show me how it works. Third one is the hardest because it's more people, so teacher can't adjust to my level, he has to always adjust to student who is doing the worst, that all of students be on the same level, and no one get lost
In my opinion, option number 2 is the best. E-learning is most helpful because we can talk to someone from another country. This person has more experience with the language because he has lived there since he was born. He also knows a lot about the culture and traditions of this country. The teacher in photo number 1 doesn't know as much as the citizen of the country. While learning in a group is more difficult because the teacher doesn't just focus on me. There may be noise and we may feel uncomfortable.
I think that the best form of learning a foreign language are individual lessons, photo number one. Learning only with a teacher brings better results. The teacher can explain more and see what the problem is. I reject photo number two because I think computer science is not good for everyone. Many things are hard to explain through a computer. I also reject photo number three. Group learning doesn’t allow error checking. some people work slower and it's hard to find a way for everyone.
The 1st option
the 1st option
In my opinion, the best form of learning a foreign language is the option of learning alone with a teacher. This is the best form, because the person teaching us is focused on us and can help us acquire knowledge that we are missing.Additionally, you can practice your speech without being shy about others. I wouldn’t choose the form of learning a foreign language through distance learning, because it is not a live language encounter, which we really need. Additionally, if it were online group lessons, there would be problems connecting or understanding others. Having experience in remote lessons - I would not like to learn a foreign language voluntarily. I wouldn’t like to go to foreign language lessons in groups because the teacher would not be able to focus on individuals. Even if it would be a properly adjusted group in terms of skills, there will always be someone who stands out from the group, has problems with learning or is perfectly good. Having experience of such lessons at school - I don't recommend it, because sometimes we stand still, because a group of people don’t know how to do a given task or some don’t do at all, because they say that if they have one good person, they will do everything for them.
I chose picture number 1 because I think I learn best by myself. I feel that I am in direct contact with the teacher. Individual teaching keeps me focused all the time on what I do, I understand more. My teacher only pays attention to me and explains what I don't understand. I rejected photo number 2 because I don't like online learning. I wear glasses and can't sit much in front of the computer. Learning a language requires a lot of time, which could make my eyesight deteriorate. I also rejected photo number 3 because I don't like learning in shivering groups. Then I cannot concentrate and I feel that the teacher is not paying attention to me directly.
the 1st option
The 3rd option
If I start learning a new language, I would choose to tutor the teacher first from these proposals. Because this gives the teacher maximum attention only to make sure that I understand what he or she has to say and it helps if I dont understand something, we can explain and understand each other in person. The second proposal for a remote learner is not suitable for me because I live in the countryside and I often have problems with the internet so that my learning could be meaningless and that I prefer to talk to and be surrounded by someone n live, rather than via the internet. The third proposal is not suitable for me because I think that there are a lot of students in the classroom and teachers are only one, so it can always happen that I do not understand something and the teacher cannot explain it to me separately because he has many other students and he has to treat everyone equally, so I can rub it in.
I chose picture 3 because I like how the teacher translated to students on the blackboard. I prefer to study at school than remotely in front of a computer. I would reject photo number 2 because remote classes can be good, but they also have disadvantages such as: Poor internet connectivity, technical problems. I also reject photo number 1 because private lessons are bad in my opinion. Because the person has no contact with peers and may feel isolated.
Now, I'm going to ask you two questions...
1.What are the advantages and disadvantages of learning a foreign language abroad? 2. Is knowledge of foreign language important for young people nowadays? Why? / Why not?
1. The biggest advantage is that the language surrounds us everywhere, for example, while in the store, taking the bus, etc., we have direct contact with the language all the time and the biggest disadvantage is that in some situations we can feel not connected because we do not fully understand something. 4. Knowledge of foreign languages is important for young people as every employer now expects knowledge of foreign languages.
1. Advantages of learning a foreign language: * you can watch series in a given language without a lector *you can show off your language on vacation *languages teach creativity and quicker thinking Disadvantages of learning a foreign language: *less time for yourself and friends *you have to systematically repeat issues, because you can quickly forget And this is it :) 4. I think learning Spanish is important these days. More and more series are written in this language, and Spaniards are not eager to learn other languages. Additionally, the Spanish language has its charm and you can charm many people with this language. If I had to choose who would teach me Spanish, I would definitely choose Berlin from "la casa de papel".
4. Knowledge of languages is very important! It helps if we are looking for a job, because now everyone should know a foreign language You can also go to study in another country.
1 The disadvantage is certainly that when we start learning a language abroad, we do not understand what can be troublesome, and that not everyone is brave and open enough to talk in their own language, let alone in a foreign language that they do not know, the advantage is certainly that by the fact that a language surrounds us every step of the way, we will get used to it much faster and learn it more quickly. 4 Knowledge of a foreign language in todays world is very important for young people because the world increasingly resembles a global village, which means that language at work is very important today and the better we know it, the better for us.
1. Advantages: we speak a foreign language at every step abroad, so everyone who leaves must know the language. Opportunity to learn about other cultures. 4. Knowledge of foreign languages is important because even foreigners coming to Poland must know the language, they must communicate with Poles. Just like us, Poles would go abroad, they also need to know the basics of a foreign language.
Thanks
Now, it's your turn...
