Exist two types of statistical methods.

Types of Statistical methods.

When we talk about of statistical methods we quickly think in two methos and those are:

  • Descriptive
  • Inferencial

Descriptive Statistics

For be more sprecific the descriptive statistics are used to describe and organize information of a short mode and easy.

When we talk about descriptive statistics we mean a the sample of te data because we can know about the results of our sample more fast only with the descriptive statistics, but the descriptive stadistics do not allow to have a conslusion of the topic only helps to describe the data or results.

Descriptive Statistics

In the descriptive statistics we can present and know about our data of a more easy form because with the Stadistic we can interpretate the data in a short step.

Example of descriptive statistics

A great example of the descriptive statistics are some, for example if we make a survey of 50 people of the number of children they have only maybe more of the 40% have more than 4 children, and it is more easy to know the results with the descriptive statistics.

Another example of Descriptive Statistics

Like we know the descriptive statistics is a step more easy of we know the raw data, and we can use this step in all the results of something that we made.

For describe the data we use for general two general types of stadistics.

Measures of central frecuency:

In general "the measures of central frencuency" try to find the central position of a sample, in all forms of Stadistic we can define the central of frecuency with some ways, but the most used in the Stadistic are the mode, meadian and mean.

For example of the 150 people of population that we have of results may be 75 out of 150 died. Some have more grade and of the other have lower grade depend of the city. And this helps to summarize how spread out these scores are.

Measures of spread:

In this case is different because this is a way of summarizing a group of data or a sample with differents methods like desviation with respect at the mean, standar deviation, variancea and standard deviation.
