A Phrasal Verb is a verb followed by a preposition or an adverb; the combination creates a meaning different from the original verb alone.

What's a phrasal verb?
Separable and Inseparable
If the object is a pronoun, it must always come between the two parts: They picked it up
Example: They picked the garbage up They picked up the garbage
The object can go either between the two parts or after.
Separable
Example: He flew over the rainforest. He flew over it.
The object and object pronoun can only go after the two parts.
Inseparable
