Document 1 : let's discover the topic!

Compare the two documents.

Recap:

The first document is a painting whereas the second document is a cartoon. On the first document, they are eating dinner. I can see leaves so maybe it takes place in Autumn time. I’m sure it takes place on the coast of a country because I can see the sea in the background. There are two people sharing a feast. Maybe the Pilgrims want to thank the Indians for their welcoming. The first document represents a scene which took place in the 17th century while the cartoon represents modern traditions about Thanksgiving. The painting is older than the cartoon.
Grammar point: Comparatives (revision)
A comparative adjective is used to compare two people or two things. It is formed by adding the ending -er to all one syllable adjectives and some two-syllable adjectives. When two nouns are being compared in a sentence, they are usually linked using the preposition than. For example: In Canada, Thanksgiving is on the second Monday of October.
