This seems like a career for me
The only thnig to put in mind is that you will belong to a progressive field that needs your ever attention to details, continous learning and being open to ideas all the time. Now let's see core points to consider in our journey.
Instructional design is a diverse, lucrative career, and there's an ever-growing need for competent instructional designers in today's market.
Introduction

wHO ARE YOU?
ID Enthusiast
Instructional designers specialize in designing & developing effective, engaging learning experiences. They draw on best practice to create effective learning experiences.
Who is an ID?
NoteBook
Basically, an instructional designer is someone who interviews subject matter experts (SMEs), writes instructional content, & then develops content into an online or face-to-face learning experience.
mmm
IDs work behind the scenes; we collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) & colleagues to design and possibly develop the instruction, but we rarely deliver it themselves.
How do we do it?
NoteBook
In Brief...
Let's go!
Instructional design is the art of creating learning experiences that help people gain the skills they need. Our aim is to identify knowledge & skill gaps and find the most powerful ways to close them, whether through online courses, games, or training videos. We try to understand how people learn & apply this knowledge to create engaging and effective learning content.

instructional design borrows a maltitude of discplines & researches. IDs are accordingly expected to stay abreast of research in visual design, educational psychology, and, of course, instructional design itself.

Awesome!!
You've got now the basic knowledge & principles to go forward.
Yeah!
The theories, principles, and methodologies covered above are not exhaustive. You will need to do additional reading on your own to round out your theoretical knowledge, But it's a good start to build on!

Production
While not all instructional design roles require you to know much of the technology, the vast majority of them do.

The Development
NoteBook
Most instructional designers are expected to not only write the instruction, but also develop it into its final online or face-to-face format. Many of the skills outlined here apply to developing eLearning, and that's because this skillset is so in-demand in today's economy. So, acknowledging that the tech climate can and does change somewhat frequently,
Here we go!!
So, what should we start with?
Lesson plans show what the trainer/instructor intends to teach, how they will teach it, and how they will assess learner's learning. A lesson plan will vary from topic to another, technique to another and also to types of skills.. A storyboards is are graphic/written organizers that plans a narrative. Storyboards are a powerful way to visually present information; they layout the instruction plan, the interactions and the means of implementation

Tecnology you say...?
Once you’ve got the necessary theoretical ID background. And built up your storyboard for implementation. You need to gain some technology skills to produce learning marvels.

NoteBook
1. Articulate 360
Articulate Storyline 360 is widely regarded as the best rapid eLearning authoring tool on the market. You can develop highly custom, interactive eLearning in a fraction of the time that it would take you with another rapid authoring tool (such as Adobe Captivate or Trivantis Lectora, which are used by some companies and development houses).
2. Techsmith Camtasia
Camtasia is a great tool for instructional designers to create and edit videos. One of its strongest features is that it's very efficient and easy to use; on top of this, it has a host of templates, advanced screen recording features, and so much more.

3. Adobe Illustrator
As an instructional designer, it's rarely necessary to master the entire Adobe suite. However, if you're going to develop eLearning using illustrations and vector graphics, you should know your way around Illustrator. You're probably not going to create many graphics from scratch simply because there usually isn't enough time or budget available for you to do so. But at least know your way around to edit & iterate.

4. Vyond
Vyond is a rapid video authoring tool that you can use to create animated videos relatively quickly. The tool lets you develop in 3 different art styles: business, contemporary, and whiteboard. Videos like this are excellent for soft skills training, explainer videos, microlearning, and much more. The tool is great for instructional designers because it's easy to use and much faster to develop with.

Yeah!
If you've made it this far in the notebook, then congratulations! You have mainly took your first step in understanding the business. But the rest, wasn't all conclusive & there are loads of matters to still look into and study about,

Our last points would be as follow:1. Search for possibilities to practice 2. Network till forever & after. This is how you grow in the business. 3. Search for how to create a portofolio of your own 4. Never stop learning!
