GOING TO
We use going to before the base form of the verb to talk about future plans and intentions.
STRUCTURE
Subject + verb to be + going + to-infinitive
Ex: I am going to buy a new car.
going to for intention
Ex: Jo has won the lottery. He says he's going to buy a Porsche.
We use going to when we have the intention to do something before we speak. We have already made a decision before speaking.
going to for prediction
We often use going to to make a prediction about the future. Our prediction is based on present evidence.
Ex :The sky is very black. It's going to snow.
To form Yes/No Questions with going to , we use the verb to be before the subject, then going to with the base form of the verb.
They are going to buy snacks.
Is he going to organize games?
