COMPLAIN +THAT CLAUSE

Direct Speech e.g. "The room is in a mess"

INFORM SB + THAT CLAUSE

Direct speech "The examination will be held on Tuesday "

Deny + ing form & Refuse + to infinitive

REFUSE DIRECT SPEECH e.g. " if you inform the polici we´ll kill the hostage (rehén). Reported Speech She refused to lend me her bicycle.

DENY DIRECT SPEECH e.g. " I didn´t use the fax machine." Reported Speech "No, I won´t lend you my bycicle"
