In this project you are going to learn the process of applying for a part time job. In your groups of 3 you will create your own Job advertisement, you will write your CV and a cover letter and prepare and act out a job interview. It is essential to use modal verbs and grammar structures seen in class while doing the job interview.

Individually write a Cover Letter. The letter provides detailed information on why you are qualified for the job you are applying for. A cover letter typically accompanies each CV you send out. See next slide examples.

Individually write your CV or Resume. Imagine you are about 23 years old and you are about to finish your degree or studies. Try to picture yourself applying for the job position written in stage 1.

Each one starts preparing the interview individually. The interviewer will prepare the different questions (about 20 questions). The interviewees will read all the questions and prepare the answers. At the end of the interview the interviewer will evaluate both candidates (compare and contrast/checklist) and choose and justify the best candidate. See typical interview questions to help you.

Prepare the interview and practice it in Teams. You will have to act it out in front of the class. Remember that some Job interviews require to follow a certain dress code.
