Creating a PORTFOLIO in

Google Slides

Step 1

Click the orange bubble above to access the portfolio template in Google Slides.* It will prompt you to make a copy for your Google Drive

STEP 2

Make any edits or changes you'd like to the template to better reflect your students, such as taking away/adding slides, updating the table headers, etc.

Step 3

Post the portfolio template as an assignment on classroom. Be sure to "Make a Copy for Each Student." To make it ongoing throughout the year, don't assign a due date.

Step 4

Periodically, open the portfolio assignment by clicking "View assignment" and going to the "Student Work" tab

Step 5

Open the first student's portfolio and use the arrows to easily toggle back and forth.

Step 6

Throughout the year, update each student's portfolio with trials and results. You can even link assignments from Google Classroom as artifacts.

Step 7

Have the students link their own evidence of success for their goals, when it's appropriate or have a slide where they can link work they're proud of.
