The personal computer

Charles Babbage, an English mechanical engineer, originated the concept of a programmable computer. He is considered "the father of the computer."

Radio

Guglielmo Marconi , an Italian inventor proved the fesibility of radio communication . He send and received his first radio signal in Italy in 1895.

Television

The first mass television broad casting system was created in London. It was invented by John Logie Baird.

the automobile

In 1769 the first steam -powered automobile was built by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot. In 1885, Karl Benz developed a petrol or gasoline-powered vehicle.

Antibiotics

Antibiotics play an important role to save people from disease. Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin in 1928.

The Internet

Most people consider Vinton Cerf and Robert Kahn to be the inventors of the internet. The first internet connections were laid in in the 1950s.
