Centralised Controller Wiring

TB7 Central Control Line

Central controllers wire to the Outdoor VRF unit on the TB7 terminal TB7 can be daisy chained across several VRF systems to control a maximum of 50 indoor fan coils per centralised controller The cable must be 1.5mm Screened cable

MAA type controllers need to daisy chain across the TB15 terminal block on the indoor fan coils if multiple indoor unit control is required from one single controller

The ME or MEA type controllers wire into the TB5 M-Net connection alongside the transmission cable from TB3 on the Outdoor unit As the M-Net is already daisy chained through the transmission cable, you only require one controller cable into TB5 terminal at any point on the M-Net to control multiple indoor fan coils

Exception to the rule - the AT50b controller is a Mini Centralised Controller but it does not have to wire into TB7 at the outdoor unit on One singular VRF system The AT50b can wire to any Indoor Fan Coil on the Internal TB5 M-Net connection and all indoor fan coils from the sysytem can be programmed and controlled from this single connection. This is only possible on a single VRF system
