The simple past
Johann sebastian bach
Johann Sebastian Bach was a German musician and composer. He lived from 1685 to 1750. He was born in a musical family and learned to play the organ and the clavichord. He wrote more than 1000 pieces of music. He married two times and had 20 children, but only ten survived into adulthood. Bach died when he was 65 years old.
The simple past use
The simple past tense describes things that happened and were completed ot things that were true in the past. The things that happened in the past may be single or repeated (habitual) actions. The definite or specific moment in the past is expressed by a time expression. - I bought a new car two year ago. - Single action that happened in the past. - I watched cartoons every afternoon when I was a child. - Repeated or habitual action in the past.
