The Young Learners: Classroom Practice course aims at helping teachers develop techniques and strategies to successfully teach young learners (6-12 years old).

Asynchronous work

WEEKS 1 TO 8Reading, writing and online interaction using Google Classroom

Accessing CLASSWORK

The course is organised into 8 weeks. For each week you'll be assigned different tasks that you should aim to complete within the week.

Material and tasks

The content of the course will be presented through videos, presentations and articles. Many of these steps are followed by short tasks to help you check your progress.

Online interaction

Every other week, you’ll come across a discussion step, where you’ll be given a topic to reflect upon. This will give you the opportunity to interact with your peers and consolidate your learning.

4 ONLINE LIVE SESSIONS

60-min interaction using Google Meet; presentation of new content; opportunity to interact with the tutors and other course participants.

Participants who miss the online live session will be able to watch the recording and complete a task afterwards.

Assessment

Completion of assignments: 60% Participation in online discussions: 20% Participation in online live lessons: 20%
