There are 4 mainproblems that map projections always have

• Shape
• Size
• Direction
• Land area

Some maps give preference to direction

Like Google Maps, sacrificing size and land area

Other maps give preference to Size

While sacrificing shape

The reality is

As long as we use maps, we will always have some sort of distortion.

EXERCISE

I'll show you 5 maps. You will create a chart where you will determine what aspect is sacrificed on each.
