Our school’s name is Collège Abbé Pierre. It is a Secondary School situated in Nueil les Aubiers, a little town in the West of France, between Nantes and Poitiers.
In our school, there are about 300 students, from Year 7 to Year 10.
In the morning, school starts at twenty to nine. There are 4 periods in the morning. The lessons last 55 minutes. We have lunch at the canteen or at home from twenty to one, to five past two. In the afternoon, there are 3 periods. School finishes at ten past five.
We go to school everyday except on Wednesday. On this day, Year 9 and 10 go to school in the morning and Year 7 and 8 stay at home. There is no school on Wednesday afternoons. In our school, we study different languages, like English, Spanish, French and Latin. We also study Science, (for example, chemistry or biology), but also Maths, and Information Technology. There are also History and geography lessons, P. E., Art, and Music lessons.
In Year 10, we prepare the final exam of G.C.S.E.

In the music room , we can find a lot of instruments : a guitar, a keyboard, boomwhackers, a xylophone, recorders. We can also sing, play instruments, and learn different types of music .
Each week the choir meets in the music room in order to prepare a concert with other school choirs. It will take place at the end of the year in a big concert hall in Bressuire, a city nearby.

El concierto tiene lugar cada año, en primavera, en una sala de conciertos de Bressuire.

Our school’s name is Collège Abbé Pierre. It is a Secondary School situated in Nueil les Aubiers, a little town in the West of France, between Nantes and Poitiers. In our school, there are about 300 students, from Year 7 to Year 10. In the morning, school starts at twenty to nine. There are 4 periods in the morning. We have lunch at the canteen or at home from twenty to one, to five past two. In the afternoon, there are 3 periods. School finishes at ten past five. In our school, we study different languages, like English, Spanish, French and Latin. We also study Science, (for example, chemistry or biology), but also Maths, and Information Technology. There are also History and geography lessons, P. E., Art, and Music lessons. In Year 10, we prepare the final exam of G.C.S.E.

In the music room , we can find a lot of instruments : a guitar, a keyboard, boomwhackers, a xylophone, recorders. We can also sing, play instruments, and learn different types of music . Each week the choir meets in the music room in order to prepare a concert with other school choirs. It will take place at the end of the year in a big concert hall in Bressuire, a city nearby.
