1. Background

Thomas Stanley Holland was born on June the 1st 1996 As he finished the BRIT School in London, he began his acting career and his first big succes was a lead role of "Billy Elliot the Musical". He gained further recognition for his starring role in the disaster film "The Impossible" and he received the London Film Critics Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year. He gained world-wide fame as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the film Spider-Man: Homecoming . This was followed by numerous other succesful films. In 2017, Holland became the youngest BAFTA Rising Star Award recipient.

2. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Holland resides in Kingston upon Thames in London, near the house of his parents and younger brothers. He has a blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Tessa. He was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 7. In June 2015, Holland was seen wearing the uniform of the English football club Arsenal F.C. in a Daily Mirror article, which led many people to speculate that he was a supporter of the club, which he later denied. Along with his three younger brothers, Holland sponsors The Brothers Trust, a UK Registered Charity that raises money for various charitable causes.

3. ACHIEVEMENTS

He earned a lot of rewards over the years, most of them are for his film "Impossible". Other highly rewarded films of his are "Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Captain America: Civil War", "Avengers: Infinity War", "Avengers: Endgame" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home".

4. CURRENT SITUATION

Holland has recently worked on voicing lead roles in the animated films Spies in Disguise and Onward. He also starred in a thriller The Devil All the Time, which was released in September 2020. He has made arrangements for a variety of film projects in the near future, and his wish is to play some more independent and substantial roles, as well as to try his hand at directing.

5. WHY I ADMIRE HIM

Tom is a good actor with an always positive attitude. He is very well known for spoiling upcoming Marvel movies. Also, he is very active on social media, giving updates about various things going on at that moment.
