the density tower
1.- ASK A QUESTION
How do you build a density tower?
2.- FORM A HYPOTHESIS
Pouring liquids into a glass, from the most dense to the least dense.
3.- EXPERIMENT
OBJECTIVE: To show how some liquids don´t mix.
materials
alcohol
LIQUID SOAP
honey
WATER
OIL
What is the order of the liquids?
*ALCOHOL *VEGETABLE OIL *WATER *LIQUID SOAP *HONEY
4.- OBSERVE AND RECORD DATA
ANSWER THE QUESTION
1.- What did you observe meanwhile you were adding each liquid?
5.- ANALYZE YOUR RESULTS
This experiment uses different types of liquids to determine which is more dense. Lighter liquids are less dense than heavier liquids so they float on top of them.
