Transparent objects
Are things we can see through easily, because light passes completly through them. For example, a drinking glass and a window are transparent.
Translucent objects
Are things we can see through, but not clearly. Light does not pass through them completly. An example of this is tissue paper.
Opaque objects
Are things we can cannot see through. For example a piece of cardboard. When light shines on an opaque object, it does not pass through them, the light will go past the sides of the object and will form a shadow.
