Because of a camels ability to hold up to 400 pounds and store up to 25 gallons of water, they were used by the Mongols, who were nomads, to cross the Gobi desert.
Alcohol could be found at any large gathering the Mongols held as it was an important part of their culture. When the Mongols conquered Persia, they immediately increased wine production because of their liking for the boozy beverage.
The Mongols wore an armor called "Lamellar". Lamellar consisted of small rectangular-shaped pieces of animal hyde or metal. The rectangular pieces were hand tied together to create the full body armor. The Mongol helmet was most often constructed using brass and included horse hair on top for a decorative element. Finally, the Mongols were skilled archers, and could always be spotted with a bow and arrow at their side.
Ceramics were a popular good that was traded along the Silk Roads, especially in Persia and China.

As the Mongols assimilated into Persian culture, they began to stray away from their nomadic meat and dairy diet, and they began to eat more similarly to the Persians. Rice quickly became a huge part of Persian-Mongol diets.
The Mongols tried, but failed, to enforce the use of paper money in Persia after the Mongols were introduced to it by China in the 13th century.

The Mongols had quite a fondness for alcohol. So much so that they created a drink called "Kumis" or "Airag" (the terms are used interchangeably), which is fermented Mare's milk. They made it by churning the mare's milk in a leather bag for several hours. The drink is still made today in Mongolia.
Dairy was one of the two main parts of the Mongol's diet. Yogurt was quite popular because it was easily accessible. For the Mongol Murderers concert, the popular Mongol meal has been turned into a drink.
With the many mammals the Mongols had access to (camels, yaks, horses, and goats), milk was not hard to come by. Because of that, dried cheese curds, or Qurut, became a popular food for the Mongols.
Meat is one of the two main staples in the Mongols diet. Red meat was primarly eaten in the winter.
White meat, while it was consumed on occasion in the summer, was mostly consumed in the winter by the Mongols.
The Mongols were cannibalistic and would drink blood, which is why the phrase "kill em' and grill em'" is added to this shirt.
The 'real blood splatters" phrase that was written on this shirt represent the gruesome and violent way of living the Mongols were used to.

The color red represents the blood that's on their hands, which led them to the powerful rulers we know of today.
