A foetus grows in the womb surrounded by liquid and gets its nutrition through a tube called the umbilical cord. When a woman has a foetus growing inside her, we say that she is pregnant

BABY
Babies cannot do much for themselves and need to be fed (with milk at first, then later with food) and have their nappies changed. (From birth to around two years )

CHILD
Children are more independent than babies, and they continue to become more independent as they get older. (From three years old to twelve years old you are a ‘child’)

TEENAGERS
Teenager are able to do most things without help. They are learning how to be grown ups and survive on their own. (from thirteen years old to nineteen you are a teenager)

Adults are fully grown. They go to work and now have babies of their own. They are extremely busy and have lots of responsability.

ELDERLY
By the age of around 67, Elderly people have worked hard during their lives and their bodies are getting tired and they need to rest more but they still like having fun though.
