What is a sentence?
A sentence is a group of words that tells a complete idea.

Begin your sentence with a capital letter.Example: My teacher plays tennis.
Basic structures of an affirmative sentence in English:
SUBJECT-VERB-OBJECT The chef bakes a cake. SUBJECT-VERB-PREPOSITIONAL PHRASE Birds fly in the sky. Subject: The person, place, or thing that does the action of the sentence. Verb: Action of the sentence. Object: A person, animal, place, thing, or concept that receives the action.
