It has materials for students of all ages (K-12), but is better geared towards those who can read independently.

Jamboard

Jamboard is a collaborative, digital whiteboard that allows students to collaborate from the Jamboard app or from a 55-inch cloud-powered whiteboard.

I would use Jamboard in my classroom in a way similar to the image on the left. Having students answer questions with notes like that where eveyone could see the responses.

Watch

Myon

I would use Myon if I taught middle school and wanted to use a historical fiction book or a biography.

Myon is a website with thousands of virtual titles for students to read.

Watch

Myon is for students in grades PreK- 8th grade.

Google Meet

Google Meet is suitable for students of all ages, some just may need more help from a parent or guardian.

Google Meet is a place where students can log on and speak to each other over video conferencing.

I would use Google Meet to allow students to collaborate in realtime on group projects.

Watch

Zoom

Zoom is a video conferncing service that students of all age can acess, some with help from an adult.

I would use Zoom for synchronous instruction and I would use the breakout room feature to put students into small groups for different activities.

Google Forms

Google Forms is a platform that allows for different questions to be asked and answered all in one place. The information from the form can be exported into a Google Sheet to be organized.

I would use Google Forms in my classroom to give my students quizzes. Google Forms has a quiz feature that makes it easy to quiz students and get their responsesall in one place.

Watch

Students of all ages could use Google Forms, but it would be most effective for students who can read and write independently.

Quizlet

Quizlet is an online flashcard resource that allows students to make flashcards and then study them in a variety of formats.

Quizlet is intended for students over the age of 13, but could be used by students of all ages.

In my classroom, I would use the game features of quizlet to make studying for quizzes and tests more enjoyable.

Pear Deck

Pear Deck is an add on to Google Slides that specializes in formative assessments and enhancements to make slide shows more engaging.

I would use the many features of Pear Deck, like the drag and drop pin, to have students identify locations on a map.

Pear Deck's websire says its intended for students under 13, but I think it could easily be used in uppe level classrooms too.
